Human rights are inherent, universal, and inalienable rights belonging to all individuals, regardless of nationality, sex, religion, or status, aimed at protecting human dignity. Primarily defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), these include rights to life, liberty, freedom from torture, and equality. They are indivisible, covering civil, political, economic, and social aspects, and are protected by international law.
